I just got this error as well.
I'm using https://get.filebot.net/syno/ as the package source. But, aha, I see my DSM is still 6.2.4. I'll update to DSM 7 (I was going to do that anyway!) and reconfirm.

Re: Suppress --apply refresh notice on Synology
I tried this out and I noted that
gave me an argument parse error. I checked the CLI reference online and I was able to get this command suppressed with the following:
Cheers!

Suppress --apply refresh notice on Synology
I use FileBot CLI on a Synology NAS and my Plex database is on a different computer (a gruntier one). When I run FileBot to handle my renaming, I get a message in the output that says Consider using --apply refresh to refresh file services and media library I understand that this is a feature of the...

Re: Unrecognized option: --illegal-access=permit
Thanks for the fast response, @rednoah! Much appreciated.
I must have gotten my Java from somewhere else but when I installed your Java Installer package, all was fixed. Thanks heaps.

Unrecognized option: --illegal-access=permit
I updated Filebot and Filebot Node on my Synology DS418+ today to 4.9.0 and now have an error coming up when I run my CLI script: Unrecognized option: --illegal-access=permit Looks like others have had this error in past years and it has been fixed by the Filebot team doing a new release. Help, plea...

Re: Can't get Filebot running on Synology DS212j
Thanks - this took me a while to figure out since I can get to the NAS from the Internet, so I know it's connected. I manually specified my DNS settings and now it seems it's all working well! Thank you for your help - this was a lifesaver.

Re: Can't get Filebot running on Synology DS212j
Thanks, rednoah, for the advice. I've modified filebot.sh (took a while to find it!) and have pointed everything to a new, writeable directory. I still get a weird Java error when I run Filebot, though. As an example I asked Filebot for a list of Community episodes. Does anyone recognise what's goin...

Can't get Filebot running on Synology DS212j
I have a new Synology DS212j and have installed the Filebot and Java packages from Missile Hugger. I've tried to do a simple rename via CLI and have gotten a whole host of Java errors. I'm aware that something is not quite right here, but I'm unsure of how to fix it. I'm skilled but I'm a unix newbi...
