Re: My custom format moves files up in the folder tree

Thanks for the detailed explanation! Ideally I would like the movie folder to be created relative to the location where the file is opened. So in the case of: D:\Movies\To Watch\Movie to be renamed.mp4 I would like it to be located in: D:\Movies\To Watch\[Name of Movie]\Movie Renamed.mp4 Is there a ...

My custom format moves files up in the folder tree

I am using this preset for renaming movie files: Files: Use Original Files selection Format: {plex.name}/{plex.name} However, when I run this preset it moves files up the folder tree. For example, I have a file in: D:\Movies\To Watch\Movie to be renamed.mp4 when I run the preset it moves to D:\Movie...

Replacing slashes in name

I am using the {plex.name} naming format for my Plex server. However, in the case of a name with slashes such as below, I need a method to replace the slashes with hyphens so Filebot doesn't translate them into folders: https://i.ibb.co/z5d7KMt/2020-06-09-21-23-26.jpg Could someone provide the right...

Re: Adding Filebot to Services (Mac OSX)

1. Ok, I thought adding the Services option would open up Filebot and load the files in that folder into Filebot ready to select options to process. I was comparing it to how Better Rename does this quite nicely and has the option to add the service feature in their app under options without having ...

Re: Adding Filebot to Services (Mac OSX)

Thanks I have corrected that and pointed it to an existing folder. However, now when I right click in Finder and under Services choose "Open with Filebot" nothing happens. Also I thought by selecting "Any Application" in Automator the option would appear in other apps. I use Path...

Re: Adding Filebot to Services (Mac OSX)

Because at the moment when I try it now I get this message: https://i.imgur.com/EeVL2QD.jpg Also I did set the Automator script to be available in any applications but it only appears when in Finder: https://i.imgur.com/8eQm0FN.jpg The co...

Yes I did use the *.pkg installer as I purchased a one year license. Is there a reason why this feature isn't built into the app?

Re: Adding Filebot to Services (Mac OSX)

Thanks - I followed the instructions, noting the twist to select Service at the beginning. When I try and import to Filebot via services I get this error. Any ideas?

Adding Filebot to Services (Mac OSX)

Hi,

Is there a way to add Filebot to the Services right-click menu? This would be a great feature so you can quickly start Filebot from a folder in Finder.
