I recently started using it on my new linux GCP VM but it would seem there is one part of this naming does not carry over very well (the "/" causes it to create a new sub folder). A little help with my naming script

Hi Guys I was very proud of how I managed cut up others code and chomp it together to get my naming convention. I recently started using it on my new linux GCP VM but it would seem there is one part of this naming does not carry over very well (the "/" causes it to create a new sub folder). Anyone a...

Re: Failed to initialize JavaFX

That's fair, I assumed it was just a vanilla distro with GCP tools installed, don't see why it would need to be any different. I recommend a GCP VM as a good testing ground, you get $300 free GCP usage and if you make your VM small enough it ends up being in the free tier. Anyway, thanks for the hel...

Please try the official repository to ensure you get all the dependencies as well: https://www.filebot.net/linux/apt.html I have tried both methods listed, when I run the sh file it gives me the following error: N: See apt-secure(8) manpage for reposit...

Re: Easiest way to get filebot to rename these correctly

thats fair, tbh it would be impressive if it did. I can not think how that would work (on the UI or config) it would start getting confusing unless it were a table system with columns etc. anyway great stuff saved me a few hours :D

Re: Easiest way to get filebot to rename these correctly

Great! Thanks! I did do the matching, it took a little while because some years are missing and some are two parts so I had to go through and remove the years that I don't have from the list. I also removed all part 2 files as it would modify the list order, I will have to go back and rename part on...

Easiest way to get filebot to rename these correctly

Hi! I usually have much success with Filebot and I am about to go in an manually rename all these files because Filebot does not seem able to pick them up (and with good reason). These are each year of the Eurovision. I thought it might pick up the Folder name and then the year in the file name but ...
