Skipping Specific Genre?

Most of my 'Animated' shows are sorted into an [Animation] Folder. But I have enough now, I'd like to orgaize those into Genres. - But the first Genre is usually 'Animation' - How would I go about Detecting if Animation is in the genre list. Using that to put them in an [Animation] Folder. Then Skip...

Re: Windows 7 Support?

Well that's not cool. darn it. I think i might be able to install Windows 10 on my BIOS PC. but info i looked up has been conflicting. some sources say yes and some say no, it has to be UEFI and the drive has to have a GPT partition. I'm not a big fan of Windows 10. that's why i've stayed with windo...

Re: Not matching filename data any longer

Ok, I'll find a few examples. I'm curious does that binding use the filename, meta data, or actually scan the file?

Re: Not matching filename data any longer

I meant RegEx.

I didn't know there was a s3D binding, is that new?

And yeah I have it matching from the full path as some have the info in the folder, some in he filename, some in both.

Not matching filename data any longer

I'm not sure if a new update caused this, or if it's something I caused that i hadn't noticed long ago. I know at one point it did work. now it's not. it matches the 3D formats just fine. but the extra info. like 'Extended Edition' it's not matching and adding to the name as [Extended Edition] or Wi...

Re: Mp3 Tagging?

Not sure. I've only ever used MusicBrainz Picard to tag music files: https://picard.musicbrainz.org/ That's the problem. I used that. And it at the genre per song. Not per band. So I'm trying to fix that. Many of my bands are separated by scram different genres. It's annoying. So that's what I'm tr...

Re: Mp3 Tagging?

So the best way would be to rename the files with the MainGenre and SubGenre, then use another program to import those into the tags?

Hello, I haven't used FileBot for mp3s yet. Is it possible to use it to just update tags and not rename files? i have a .csv file with: Artist;MainGenre;SubGenre, i would like to load all my mp3s into FileBot, check the Artist tag in the mp3, compare it to the artist tag in the CSV and force the Mai...

Best way to identify and label foreign language files?

What is the best way to identify and tag foreign language files with the correct language? 1. Identify that the Film is not in English and put it in folder: [Foreign Films]/[German] or: [Foreign Films]/[French], etc 2. Identify what language the film actually is and add it to the filename: [German] ...

Truncate Filename?

Is there a way to limit the characters that it renames the file too? - So if it's over the 256 Character limit (with folder path) it'll cut off the necessary characters at the end, so it'll fit? - it'd be better to cut off at the word level, instead of character, so words aren't cut in half, but i'm...

Re: CSV Issue

So looking into that, it's a great theory. but I opened the .csv in notepad++ and checked 'show all hidden characters' and it didn't show anything. then i checked the settings and it is set to save as: UTF-8 Without BOM. So that's likely not the issue. i did find out. that with all the other 'extra ...

Re: CSV Issue

Ok, I found the problem, it appears to be putting the first result, and the last result of each field 0.

Dreamworks; Movie 1
Dreamworks; Movie 2
Dreamworks; Movie 3
Dreamworks; Movie 4

It's only adding Movie 1, and movie 4 to the mapping.
hmm..

Re: is there a way to detect the different Audio tracks?

Ok, I did that, and in this file specifically, it's showing 3 Audio tracks. But no language set, which I'm sure was not set when it was encoded. that sucks. but it's what I assumed. I wonder if there's a way to edit it to add that info in. Hmm. I'll have to look into that. So with this one (and i'd ...

is there a way to detect the different Audio tracks?

So i'm trying to detect the different audio tracks of a video file. {audios.groupBy{ it.language }.collect{ c, a -> a*.language}.flatten()}) seems to work. but i'd guess only if the audio track has an encoded language. I have several videos that have the main audio track, and then a commentary. that...

I tried: {csv('C:/FileBot Settings/Movies/ExtraFileInfo/Test.csv').findResults{ k, v -> k.contains(n) ?
