Re: latest few updates put priority on episode number
i have some great screenshots that would fully show exactly what I mean, but I do not know how to upload them here. I think they have to be on a server somewhere to post on the board, but I could easily email them as needed.

latest few updates put priority on episode number
Which is a problem as the great thing about filebot is that in most matching, it put the priority on the text of the episode title and would then change the season and episode number appropriately. Please either allow us to revert to that priority level or give the option for that. Explanation: Unfo...

TVDB Not working: socket error
For the last 2 days I have been getting socket errors using the TVDB. I am not sure if it is something they changed so filebot cannot connect to them, of if the tvdb is not working for connections for anything but wanted to post it. I will keep trying to see if it resolves by itself. And yes, the th...

Null pointer exception or security warning
I get two different issues with the latest version depending on what computer I am running. On my xp computer, I get a security warning when loading the filebot program using the launch button on the main page, so I get the latest issue. It loads but when you add a file and try to do the lookup, it ...

Re: Use case: Monitor local shared folder and import conten
I don't know if I am reading this wrong or if you don't get what I am doing so just to check, I want the script to basically go to the folder with all those files in it (movies and tv shows mixed) and be able to rename them all. It doesn't have to move them or sort them, I have other programs that d...

Re: Use case: Monitor local shared folder and import conten
Also, after I posted this, I went onto tvdb and input all the heavy metal episodes, I don't know how long they take to show up in filebot, but i know it usually takes about a day, I have been meaning to do this and had some time today, but assuming they would not work, what would happen?

Re: Use case: Monitor local shared folder and import conten
I hope this doesnt sound too stupid, but i think this might do exactly something I have been looking to do, which is go thru a folder of mixed files and be able to automatically rename them. I have mixed files because lots are coming from the tivo, so wondering if this command stated or modification...

Re: how to rename only parts of files
Yeah, I screwed that up because I was not at the computer I usually work on, the actual separator is the underscore so they are (22_1_12_2012) The last revision did a good job at the one line renaming fix so now I rarely have to correct for the date.

Re: How to auto extract
I will play with it, I only saw it on a feature list and was wondering what I was missing. On a separate note, it also says we can compare two directories. That is very useful, especially in a couple ways I can think of. because I use winmerge all the time to do that and it would make life easier if...

How to auto extract
I think I am missing something. I take a torrent folder and analyze it and it comes up wit the rars and such but I do not know how to do this automatically. The only way I seem to be able to do it is by selecting each rar indiviually on the right hand side and right clicking on open which then pulls...

how to rename only parts of files
one of the best things I like about filebot is the ability to take a list of shows and find out their resolution via the resolution tag. I have two suggestions related to this that I would like to be able to do. 1. Be able to have multiple formats that are easily selectable in say a click list for t...

Re: thtvdb matching getting weird results
is it possible to pull from the airdate order instead of the disk order? For example, I also use tvrename and for certain episodes it makes sense to use the aired order but filebot doesnt do that and for some strange reason something that I fixed, like civil war journal in the tvdb, I added episodes...

Re: A way to resolve naming errors
But it would be nice to manually rename one in the list or whatever, especially if there are two files that are similar and need to be renamed in the list of files or another way of looking at it is this, if filebot doesnt detect the file on the left side properly, it would help to be able to edit t...
