Re: Force relative symlinks in a docker context where absolute symlinks don't work due to different file system views

Re: docker volume mappings Your docker command, assuming that you're using docker to launch docker containers. If you're using compose the then corresponding configuration file. Re: Tv show script result change since many week

:?: Do you want to explicitly generate relative symlinks for some reason? :idea: Newer versions of FileBot will generate the shortest path. This may be the absolute path if the absolute path is shorter than then relative path. That's because generating relative paths that include the entire absolute...

Re: Separate out WEBRip from WEB-DL

:?: Can you list a few file paths with corresponding desired output path? :idea: The code above is an example. You can modify the regex pattern to match your target patterns more specifically. You can write the code yourself and test it against your file paths, but if you need help our with that the...

Re: Separate out WEBRip from WEB-DL

e.g.

Format: Select all

{ fn.match(/Web[A-Z]{2}/) }
If the file name contains Web<two upper-case letters> then add that to the target file path.

Re: Separate out WEBRip from WEB-DL

If you want to match WebHD then you need to use /WebHD/ and not /WEBRip/ as custom regex pattern:

Format: Select all

{ any{ fn.match(/WebHD/) }{ vs } }
:idea: fn refers to the file name. If the file name contain WebHD then the snippet above will yield WebHD as a result.

Re: Series no longer matching correctly

-list confirms that After.Midnight.2024. 2024.01. 22 can't work because the date in the file name is wrong. Presumably, that file is meant to be 2024-01- 23 . EDIT: :idea: You can still use the --filter option to force a specific episode if you must use the command-line for some reason: $ filebot -...

Re: Odd problem (Cannot process Behind the Scenes files)

:arrow: Manual Matching always works. In this case you'd just copy & paste the matching Episode items from Episodes into Rename . It'll take 15 seconds at most. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dh2WXQSzgJA :idea: You don't actually need to know why Automatic Matching doesn't work in one case or a...

Re: Various Artist albums and Soundtracks

You can check the MediaInfo Bindings to see what information is available via ID3 tags for the files at hand. If you can make a decision on how to organize files based on MediaInfo properties, then you can write a custom format in FileBot to make it so. If you need help with that, please post MediaI...

Re: Odd problem

:idea: The keyword Behind the Scenes marks these files as extras. FileBot cannot process extras since they're not episodes and thus do not correspond to anything in the database, so they are preemptively ignored to avoid mismatches. :?: What would be the desired target file name for these files? Wha...

e.g.

Shell: Select all

--def movieFormat="movies/{ ~jellyfin.id }" seriesFormat="tv_series/{ ~jellyfin.id }"
:idea: You somehow removed the ~ when you changed ~plex to jellyfin. The ~ removes the leading Movies / TV Series bit. See {plex} format for details.

Re: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: com.github.benmanes.caffeine.cache.Caffeine

Files disappearing / corrupting by themselves is scary. Could be anything. Software running on device. Storage device failing. Etc. I'd keep an eye on it and make sure you have backups.

:?: Which Linux are you using?

:?: Did you confirm that the caffeine.jar file is in the FileBot application folder?

Re: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: com.github.benmanes.caffeine.cache.Caffeine

:!: That error would suggest that caffeine.jar was somehow removed from the FileBot application folder. That would be most unusual. Files suddenly becoming unreadable by themselves is very scary. That could suggest a severe hardware problem, a failing disk, etc. :?: What does filebot -script fn:sysi...

Re: Force re-generating NFO file (tvshow.nfo movie.nfo)

1. Delete the existing NFO files
2. Drop files into Filter and then use Attributes ➔ Apply ➔ Export NFO files

:!: Applying Post-Processing Features after the fact only works if files have already been processed with FileBot and thus have xattr metadata readily available.

Please paste the MediaInfo properties for the file at hand. Re: FileBot ignores -featurette files

:?: Please post file paths as text . 1. The format expression decides the file path: https://www.filebot.net/naming.html C:\My Movies\{ny} [{vf}]/{ny} [{vf}]{subt} :idea: {subt} adds the ".eng" bit if the file at hand is a subtitle file. 2. Fetching subtitles is unrelated to formatting Episode objects into target file paths. ...
