Good day,
I've been using FileBot for years. At that time, it was still on my other Mac.
I installed it on my new Mac and at the beginning it was still set to rename the film titles in German.
Since a few days they come out in English.
I usually do this by dragging and dropping the files link into it. Then I press Fetch Data and TheMovieDB.
Finally, I press Rename.
That's all I do.
Where do I set the film titles to be renamed in German?
The programme could do much more, I know. It is very extensive. Even though I have been using it for a long time, I have not done more than the steps described above.
I have already used the search function, but I probably entered the wrong search terms because I didn't find anything.
Thank you for your understanding.
Best regards,
Christian

You can select your preferred Language in the Match Preferences:
Note that TheMovieDB may not have German-language information available. If you find movies where FileBot defaults to English because the German name hasn't been entered yet, then you can go to TheMovieDB to add the missing information for the benefit of all.

Thank you! That's it!
For the others:
To get to the match preferences you have to click here on Fetch Data
and then here at the bottom on Preferences:
