[TheMovieDB::TV] localize.zho.n is not working

Post by kw17th »

When I use the episode binding screen to check the sample binding name and value for a TV series episode, seems it works fine. But when I actually use it with a preset. It only gives me the {n} instead of {localized.zho.n}

Thanks for the post! Before a real human comes by, please make sure your report has all the following points checked:
  • What are you trying to do achieve? What's not working? What have you tried so far?
  • Include screenshots, logs or filenames (i.e. demonstrate the issue)
  • Include System Information (i.e. filebot -script fn:sysinfo console output)

:?: Which database?
:?: Which series?
:?: Does the series have a Chinese name? Link?

(a screenshot would have answered all these questions)

Actually, it's a general problem. it was working before I upgrade to 4.9.2. I'm using TMDB for example.
Using this preset:

Checking the file and the episode binding, shows there's a value for localized.zho.n

but when I actually get the result, it is in English.

Oh, I see. Looks like it's an issue specific to the new TheMovieDB::TV implementation? You can use TheTVDB instead as a workaround.

Alternatively, you could try upgrading to the latest beta which should work better for your particular use case:
