I have a fairly standard Episode Format of {n} - {s00e00.lower()} - {t}
After searching for names with the TVDB when I click on Rename - FileBot shows the MOVING FILES dialog and the progress.
Where did my files go to.
The folder where the original files were is now empty.
Where did my files get moved to
Re: Where did my files get moved to
I have a strange feeling this dam program DELETES the files if the file name is too long for Windows.
Tell, oh please tell me I am wrong.

Re: Where did my files get moved to
I'm pretty sure rename will just fail with any kind of invalid filename. And with that format you will never exceed 256 characters anyway. What OS / Java version are you using? Sometimes windows explorer doesn't refresh properly after rename.
Check FileBots internal rename history (right-click rename button -> history) and from there you should be able to revert any rename operation.

Re: Where did my files get moved to
Thank you for your reply. I am using a fully updated Windows 7.
I will check the history and let you know.
After the files were "moved" or what ever happened after I clicked on rename. I did a full search of my computer for file names like what I had to what they could have been. I could not find them.
