About symlinks

I'm currently using --action keeplink with my amc filebot setup.

Question: Is this the action I need to move the file to the network share I'm using? I basically want to move the files to a network share and keep a link? Is that what it's doing?

I have filebot running on a virtualmachine that does all the processing and I want to keep the disk space low on that.

debian (has my torrent downloader and filebot, limited hd space)

Move files but keep a link. ------>

Yes, that's what keeplink does. First we move the file and then we create a symlink in the original location.
