Hello, I have only recently discovered Filebot and I congratulated you for it.
I have come across some weirdness that I thought I should mention.
I am running version 4.2 on a Mac OSX 10.9.4 and on an emulated PC Win 7 using Parallel Desktop 8.
Here are the relevant screenshots : http://imgur.com/a/T0tU5/embed#0
The first thing is a title discrepancy between versions. both were using TheTVDB. The PC version had the correct title but not the Mac.
The second problem is about the Rename History. Both Mac and PC version showed as empty after a successful renaming. I then tried the Filebot (console) version and the Rename History appeared correctly.
I hope this is enough information as I don't know anything about cmd.
Thanks
Rename History weirdness & Title discrepancy
Re: Rename History weirdness & Title discrepancy
Please try the latest 4.5_B3 and see if it's still an issue.
Re: Rename History weirdness & Title discrepancy
Sorry but I don't know where to get that version 4.5_B3, I looked on the main Filebot site and on SourceForgerednoah wrote:Please try the latest 4.5_B3 and see if it's still an issue.
Re: Rename History weirdness & Title discrepancy
Sorry, I did not dare look in the HEAD folder.
I used this file FileBot_4.5-portable.zip and installed on the PC as there was no Mac version.
With 4.5_B3, the renaming worked fine but not the Rename History, here are the screenshots: http://imgur.com/a/5ZGMA#0

1.
There was an issue, that only happened when the history is still empty, but it's been fixed for weeks. This sounds like that. Also your screenshots show history working. After closing FileBot you can inspect the history yourself by opening history.xml with an editor. Also if you open multiple instances at the same time then they won't know about each others new additions to the history, and new additions will only be merged into the history file on application exit.
2.
There's a Mac version. It's the app bundle.

Re: Rename History weirdness & Title discrepancy
I named the pictures correctly but should have mentioned this in the post, my bad, the console version showed the history but not the regular version.
I just tried try the mac version and the Rename History is OK but not the scraping to the title, that is incorrect.

Re: Rename History weirdness & Title discrepancy
It's an image. I can't copy & paste the filename from an image.
EDIT:
I can't reproduce the issue and it works out of the box for me.
Just try again a week later, or clear cache.
