AMC subtitles problem

Post by terra17 »

Hi everybody,

I'm trying to understand AMC.groovy for my Synology NAS, and it looks great.

I made my experiments, and the only thing that I cannot resolve is fetching ITALIAN subtitles for my episodes.

This is my script

Code: Select all

filebot -script fn:escape
filebot -script fn:amc '/volume1/torrent/prova' \
--output '/volume1/torrent/prova' \
--lang it \
--log-file '/volume1/torrent/prova/amc.log' \
--def excludeList=amc-input.txt \
--action copy \
--conflict auto \
-non-strict \
--def "seriesFormat=/volume1/torrent/prova/TVshows/{n}/{'Stagione '+s}/{n.upperInitial()} - {sxe} - {t.upperInitial().replacePart(', (Parte $1)')} - [{source}.{vf}.{ac}]{'.ita'}" "movieFormat=/volume1/torrent/prova/Movies/{genres[0]}/[{fn.match(/3D/)+', '}{vf}, {ac}, {af}] - {n.upperInitial().ascii()} ({y}) di {director} [{genres[0]}, {rating}]" "musicFormat=Z:/Music/{n}/{fn}" \
--def subtitles=it,fr,de,en clean=y unsorted=y music=y
and this is my log

Code: Select all

Parameter: excludeList = amc-input.txt
Parameter: seriesFormat = /volume1/torrent/prova/TVshows/{n}/{'Stagione '+s}/{n.upperInitial()} - {sxe} - {t.upperInitial().replacePart(', (Parte )')} - [{source}.{vf}.{ac}]{'.ita'}
Parameter: movieFormat = /volume1/torrent/prova/Movies/{genres[0]}/[{fn.match(/3D/)+', '}{vf}, {ac}, {af}] - {n.upperInitial().ascii()} ({y}) di {director} [{genres[0]}, {rating}]
Parameter: musicFormat = Z:/Music/{n}/{fn}
Parameter: subtitles = it,fr,de,en
Parameter: clean = y
Parameter: unsorted = y
Parameter: music = y

If for Gotham 1x07 the cause is that there aren't italian subs yet, for House of Cards 2x01 there are instead.
If I try with my old single show script, Filebot finds the subs.

Why AMC doesn't ?

Thank u

The amc script downloads subtitles in strict mode only. So while there may be subtitles, if they haven't been properly uploaded to OpenSubtitles (with movie hash and tag) it won't work. And of course the files have to match by hash or tag as well. Fuzzy matches are not allowed (and would take much more time and resources to find).

Ok, thank you for that.

Now, i was trying with some music file, for the first time with Filebot.

The log file told me this:

Rename music using [AcoustID]
IOException: Failed to exec fpcalc: Cannot run program "fpcalc": error=2, No such file or directory
Processing 1 unsorted files
[COPY] Rename [/volume1/torrent/prova/01 The Miracle (Of Joey Ramone).mp3] to [/volume1/torrent/prova/Unsorted/01 The Miracle (Of Joey Ramone).mp3]
Processed 1 files

what should I do ? I have a fpcalc file in filebot folder on the NAS, with libzen.so and libmediainfo.so, so ?

You need to make sure fpcalc works:

Code: Select all

fpcalc -version
But whatever binaries you got might not work on whatever ARM processor you got.

{lang} sure doesn't exist for audio. :D Would that be the language of the song??? :lol:

{lang} only works for subtitle files. And it only works reliably where the subtitles filename already ends with a language tag.

ahahahah, sorry Rednoah, I put too many things together.

So,

music problems solved, 100 % works.

I try to use {'.'+lang} in name format ... but it doesn't work.

I have problem now with sub and relative video file:

after you told me that AMC doesn't work well with Italian subs, I added at the end of my AMC script my old suball commandline (100 % working).

Suball now finds me the sub and call it 123456.ita.srt, but AMC call the relative video file 123456.srt, so i have problem with DLNA to synchronize video and sub.

With my old scripts I found a trick, {'.ita'}, and i resolved, but if I do it now, after AMC and suball, I find 123456.ita.ita.srt and 123456.ita.mkv.

Can {'.'+lang} be used for video files ??? What can I do ?

{'.'+lang} cannot be used for video files, and fails as intended.

That's why you can have one format that evaluates as expected for 1 video and many subtitles:

Code: Select all

movie.mp4
movie.eng.mp4
movie.ita.mp4
If you really want the audio language of the movie file, then you can do that via advanced mediainfo bindings, and there's examples in the forums. But it may not always be possible at all (e.g. not possible for avi files due to lack of metadata).

Oh, damn, I'm going slightly mad, like Freddie Mercury sang ...
I get closer and closer to what I want, but at last a little problem always comes out ... :\

maybe I find a way to do it, put the suball commandline first.

but now it searches subs also for movies ... :(((((((((((((

ahahahahahhahahahahah, i will make it !!!
