FileBot moving files

Post by TheFalleN »

How can I stop filebot from moving files? After it renames them it moves the files out of the drive i specified for them to download in. Its quite a hassle to move them back. I'm doing batches of folders and its like 100 Gigs more or less. Filebot moves all the files that I have renamed then I have to move them back to the drive that was originally housing them.

Is there anyway to stop filebot from moving my media after it renames it.

In this image it shows that the original folder was in letter drive N, Now its in Letter Drive C.

Everytime I go to rename a series it always gets moved to a different drive.

How do I stop this. I just want to rename my media not move it.

Sorry, I forgot to mention that I'm using Filebot for my Plex Media server.

I am currently using it in the Plex Format for episodes.

If you use an absolute path format then files will be move/renamed accordingly. If you use a filename (or relative path) format then files will be move/renamed accordingly.

You probably just want a simple filename format like {n} - {s00e00} - {t} but I highly recommend keeping well-organized files in a different folder structure using absolute path formats like X:/Media/{plex} instead of renaming files in place.
