4.7.2 not launching under 10.11.6

bought filebot of the mac app store.
the program won't launch. a few reviewers say the same.

pls fix.

Do you have any logs? What does the error message say? What does Console say?

the applauncher ist faulty.

Well, it works for most people, so it'd be really helpful to see the crash log so I can find out where it crashes and why it doesn't work on your machine.

I had the same problem, I just re-installed the Java Runtime Environment again:

And it worked fine after that

The Mac App Store app does not use the system JRE but it's own embedded JRE so this won't help the OP. It might help if you have issues with the brew cask version though.
