Re: AMC Problem (Fully Automated Media Center Script)
My filebot sometimes misses some downloads through utorrent.. I think it misses when 2 downloads ends pratically at the Same time... Filebot executes the first and misses the second one...
Is there any option to create a "waiting list" after utorrent downloads? A waiting list between utorrent and filebot, so filebot dont miss any download...
?

Re: AMC Problem (Fully Automated Media Center Script)
No, there's no such issues. What's the console output of the instance that failed?
Re: AMC Problem (Fully Automated Media Center Script)
there isnt.... filebot misses completly that file... :S
an example:
utorrent is downloading "braking.bad.s01e01" and "braking.bad.s01e02" at the sime time.
"braking.bad.s01e01" finishes now and filebot starts normally with this file; After 3seconds utorrent finishes downloading "braking.bad.s01e02" and filebot misses this one....

Re: AMC Problem (Fully Automated Media Center Script)
Miss or don't miss there's gotta be some cmdline output. Is utorrent calling it? If it's called there must be output, even if it's error output.
You can try grabbing the two commands from the log and manually running it at the same time with two cmds. Check what the output says.

Re: AMC Problem (Fully Automated Media Center Script)
Update to v3.5 and -clear-cache if it still happens. I'd guess you're using the latest version of the script with and outdate filebot.
Sorry, with some updates i can't help compatibility issues.

Re: AMC Problem (Fully Automated Media Center Script)
rednoah i tested now that bug i reported a few days ago, with "Californication.S06E11.720p.WEBRip.x264-KYR", and after utorrent completed download, cmd line window opened and after 5 seconds it closed!!! no explanation, no .log file created, nothing!! just opened and closed the cmd line window!!
i did a manual batch file to initiate the execution, and everything went right! filebot executed that file. That's a problem when utorrent initiates filebot or something... can you help?

Re: AMC Problem (Fully Automated Media Center Script)
If you startup the GUI it'll tell u about updates, not sure if I ever had a cmdline tool tell me about updates though.
Check the docs again. Since v3.5 uses filebot.exe instead of filebot.cmd to launch the console application behaviour has changed slightly, I think you can't just use console cmdline output redirect now it seems cause of the way utorrent executes the command. So you'll need to force execute this with cmd like so:

Re: AMC Problem (Fully Automated Media Center Script)
The final episode of Shark Tank Season 1 is Shark Tank - 1x14 - A man reinvents the umbrella. Shark Tank 1x15 does not exist.
Re: AMC Problem (Fully Automated Media Center Script)
I never doubted you had an episode labelled 1x15 ... so what? It's still not on TheTVDB. By using -non-strict you tell filebot to use the best possible match. Don't use -non-strict and illegal episodes like that end up ignored.

Re: AMC Problem (Fully Automated Media Center Script)
It's generally not necessary. Only if you really wanna use Windows CMD IO redirection. But why would you want that? FileBot is giving you --log-file FILE already.
The fail-safe solution is to use absolute paths, which is in the AMC thread, printed in bold black letters:

i want that because without it filebot doesnt run when utorrent finishes downloads. Why u mentioned log files?! im confused... i didnt mentioned that in this question.
i use always full paths on output directory. i didnt know i could use full path to call filebot in utorrent. If this is bullet proof, why it isnt in the code?
so, i should use like this: ""C:/Program Files/Filebot/filebot.exe" -script fn:amc --output "X:/path/to/media" --log-file amc.log --action copy --conflict override -non-strict --def music=y subtitles=en artwork=y "ut_label=%L" "ut_state=%S" "ut_title=%N" "ut_kind=%K" "ut_file=%F" "ut_dir=%D""
?
Like this it will work flawlessly?
Re: AMC Problem (Fully Automated Media Center Script)
1.
Well, the quote you sent me is all about making IO redirection work, and that's the only reason why you'd need cmd /c ... to original post was about creating logs using IO redirection, which is no longer necessary with 3.5+
2.
Because the command is 'filebot' and that's just how cmdline tools work. It's basic cmdline knowledge that Windows/Linux/Mac will resolve this command to the actual executable using the PATH.
"C:/Program Files/Filebot/filebot.exe" does not work on Linux or Mac, or German Windows, or Chinese Windows, also it's verbose and ugly, and most of the time not necessary.
It's in the troubleshooting section cause it's a troubleshooting fix. The reason it didn't work out-of-the-box is probably because you didn't do Step 6 "Restart!" which makes sure that all process get the updated PATH.
