It seems to me that amc should choose "Contact (1997)" and not "The Contact (1997)"? Even though the names are very similar, the first one is an exact match!Run script [fn:amc] at [Mon Jun 10 19:19:24 CEST 2019]

Re: Incorrect movie naming
I'll look into it.
In the meanwhile, semi-manual processing should work:
EDIT:
This warning just tells you why it's not working, a search for "catch 22" yields 0 results, and since TheTVDB gives back bad results, FileBot is likely to also give you bad results, because it'll think "catch 22" isn't a TV series:
I'll add a custom alias. Should make it work in the future.

Code: Select all

Re: Incorrect movie naming
Bad luck. The year is wrong in the index, maybe because it modified after FileBot indexed it, and "Consumed" happens to be called "Food" as an alias, with a closer year.
The bad one somehow beats out the good one by 0.001 points. It'll probably resolve itself once FileBot updates its index with the latest movie year (i.e. correct year) value. I'll look into it though.

Re: Incorrect movie naming
Thanks for the quick response as always!
Is it not odd that "Food" wins over "Food Evolution" even though the year is 1 off? I suppose the year has a very strong weight as it's usually correct, perhaps being 1 year off should not lessen the weight much?

Re: Incorrect movie naming
The final result is very odd.
Think of it like an election. A 50.001 over 49.999 majority still means one side wins 100% and the other 0%.
In this particular case, I've fixed it by correcting the database information.
If we find similar cases in the future, then I might have to adjust the logic, but I'll need more data to make sure the benefits outweigh the costs, since adjusting weights is a always double-edged sword.

Makes perfect sense. Going to retry the download now then
Re: Incorrect movie naming
Might need the latest revision. Clear cache. Etc.
Since server side caching is there as well, it might take 1+ week to get the latest data.
