Sorry, no idea. Never seen a blank screen like this on macOS. On Windows or Linux graphics acceleration / graphics drivers would be the usual suspects, but on macOS there's not much you can change in this regard.
You could try the x64 build for good measure, just to see if that makes a difference.
You could also try upgrading to the latest version of macOS, just to see if that makes a difference.
You could press F5 to see if the application is reacting to keyboard events. See How to Request Help for details on "debug console" usage.
If none of these things makes a difference, then no idea, wait and see if other users encounter similar issues and then see if they have something in common. I cannot reproduce the issue on the MBP 2021 with M1 Pro that I'm currently using for testing macOS / ARM64 builds. Perhaps a Google search will give you ideas for things to try or logs to check. A factory reset is also worth a try, but probably too much of an inconvenience.
