TheMovieDB

FileBot supports the following TV Episode Group types as Episode Order preference:

 Episode Order: Date and Title is a synthetic order that uses the episode airdate as episode number (e.g. E20240731) instead of the SxE numbers. See Match by Episode Title for use case examples.

TheTVDB

Episode Order preferences in FileBot map to TheTVDB orders like so:
  • --order Airdate ... Usable as "Aired Order" in API-connected systems.
  • --order Absolute ... Usable as "Absolute Order" in API-connected systems.
  • --order DVD ... Usable as "DVD Order" in API-connected systems.
  • --order Digital ... Usable as "Alternate Order" in API-connected systems.
  • --order Story ... Usable as "Alternate DVD Order" in API-connected systems.
  • --order Production ... Usable as "Regional Order" in API-connected systems.
  • --order Official ... Usable as "Official Order" in API-connected systems.

AniDB

AniDB uses --order Absolute exclusively and does not support alternate episode orders. Your Episode Order preferences have no effect.

TVmaze

TVmaze uses --order Airdate exclusively and does not support alternate episode orders. Your Episode Order preferences have no effect.
