help with renaming HDR and Dolby vision?

Post by a5ian300zx »

Hi,

I hope someone can help or assist in me figuring out this issue I have with the below string

Format: Select all

{video.HDR_Format =~ /Dolby Vision/ ? video.HDR_Format_Compatibility =~ /HDR10/ ? 'HDR DV' : 'DV' : "HDR" }

Basically I like to have abbreviation for HDR/Dolby Vision content, but one of the string items is not working properly so if i have 1080p file i am trying to rename or series then it always adds "HDR" in the filename not sure what i am missing.

I like to have the following, and hence the above string.
HDR10 = HDR
Dolby Vision = DV

The one I would like but cannot see it being available is HDR10 Plus to HDR+ or HDRP, but I don’t think Filebot can recognise that HDR format yet as it always renames it HDR.

I do the same for Audio so I can have a shorter filename.

Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks

The {hdr} binding can give you the following values depending on the file at hand:

Code: Select all

HDR
HDR10
HDR10+
DV
DV+HDR10
Due to popular request, in FileBot 5.2.0 or higher, the {hdr} binding will print DV or DV+HDR10 instead of Dolby Vision.

:?: Let's check and find out. What does the mediainfo table say for the file at hand?
