Option to skip "Duplicate Source File" Filebot Error

Post by winecountrymedia »

Create "Skip existing files"

"Duplicate Source File:File Name"

It would be nice to have a option to just skip or delete duplicates instead of having to find the file in the list and removing it. Sometimes I try to rename entire folders with hundrends if not thousands of files. Trying to sort through to find the duplicate seems counter intuitive.

:?: Duplicate Source File means that you have added the same file into FileBot multiple times? That is unusual. You can't normally do that, unless you explicitly ADD-DROP the same files multiple times. AFAIK, if you just drop a folder (which clears the list and then adds the files from that folder) then you can't run into this issue. Duplicate Source File is notably not related to files already existing at the destination path, it's only about loading the same file into Original Files twice.

:?: Please post screenshots. It is imperative that you post screenshots. If you look at the UI, and you think "It'd be nice if there was an option..." then take a screenshot at that point in time, and post it here so we can see what you can see.
