Hi all,

just wanted to let you know that Kodi does support identifiers now. See https://kodi.wiki/view/Naming_video_fil ... dentifiers

And they use {tmdb=335984} with = equals. Now everyone has managed to come up with something that is distinct and different from everyone else.

EDIT:

FileBot r10240 is now aware of the Kodi-specific {tmdb=335984} pattern when using the {kodi.id} binding.
 Please read the FAQ and How to Request Help.

That's not correct. Kodi pretty much accepts all of the available formats. You can use quare brackets, curly brackets, source or sourceid, it accepts = and - as separator. The filename identifier can be anywhere in the filename. Kodi tries to find a identifier first, then tries looking it up, if it fails removes it from the filename and does the usual scraping.
