Filebot suddenly won't open

Hi,

I've been using filebot succesfully for a long time, but suddenly it has stopped working. When I open it, it pops up briefly for less than a second then closes.
I've tried reinstalling. When I run -script fn:sysinfo in cmd I get the following message (I don't know what it means):

Did you recently install Astrill VPN by any chance? Can you run a search for the ASProxy64.dll library that is somehow injected into the FileBot process and then crashes process?

Hi, thanks for the reply. I did recently install astrillVPN! Interestingly, after installing this app, another program on my computer (meta quest PC app) also isn't opening properly. Would I need to uninstall the entire VPN for these programs to work again? Is there any solution that allows me to keep astrillVPN? I'm living in China and it works great for letting me access the internet, so would rather keep it if possible, but these problems with filebot and the quest PC app are driving me crazy

You could try to report the issue to the Astrill VPN so that they my fix their VPN software. I don't see why a VPN would need to inject code into active processes. The Astrill VPN developers may be able to fix the issue in their code injection code, or advise of a way to disable code injection for selected programs.
