Help with Jellyfin naming for split episode files

Howdy,

Apologies if this is answered anywhere else, but I searched and haven't figured out a way to do this.

I have an episode that is split into multiple physical files. Example

Format: Select all

CSI - Crime Scene Investigation (2000) - S00E01 - Immortality.mkv
is in two parts.

According to the jellyfin naming page, https://jellyfin.org/docs/general/serve ... iple-parts , it should be named

Format: Select all

CSI - Crime Scene Investigation (2000) - S00E01-part-1 - Immortality.mkv
and

Format: Select all

CSI - Crime Scene Investigation (2000) - S00E01-part-2 - Immortality.mkv
, however I don't see a way to use the existing jellyfin format, viewtopic.php?t=4116#jellyfin, to get this output. I've looked at https://www.filebot.net/naming.html and don't see a function to set it.

Is there a way to set this or do I need to build a fully custom format string?

Thank you!

 You can add the {di} duplicate index to {jellyfin.id} like so:

Format: Select all

{ jellyfin.id % { if (dc > 1) "-part-$di" } }
NOTE: AFAIK, the -part-1 bit must be added at the end of the file name and must not be in the middle of the file name. The example in the documentation is ambiguous in this regard.

Oh! Thank you, I misunderstood their example. Appreciate the correction.
