Hi there,
recently I renewed my license for the 3rd (or 4th?) time, still a happy user. A few day ago, FileBot gave me a pop-up for the Right-Click Menu for Win11 application, and I dig that a lot already!
However, sometimes I don't want to crawl for titles, but copy from existing episodes. I do that rather often actually. I understand the idea of the right-click menu is that the main app doesn't has to open, but as the over-arching main idea is "convenience", I wanted to ask if there is a possibility to get a "start application" option in that very menu? Could be on the bottom of the list so it doesn't bother.
In Windows 11, when I right-click a folder, I have no "open with" option; also, when I select more than one file, there is no "open with" option. So I always have to "show more options" (or what it's called in english) to get the old Win10 menu, then "send to", and there I have added FileBot. I know it's not many more steps, but it's bothersome.
I understand it's niche, but maybe there is a way to get a simple application-start in that menu as well?
Best Regards
add "start application" to Right-Click Menu for Win11
Re: add "start application" to Right-Click Menu for Win11
Yes, this kind of use case will definitely be supported in future versions.
That involves opening the UI and running a given preset in the selected files right away, as well as just launching FileBot (or any other program) and passing the selected files along.
The next major update for Right-Click FileBot might still be a few months out though

Thanks for your switft reply!
Even if it is months away, it's good to know it's on the roadmap
I deeply enjoy it already either way!
