Filebot library cleanup

Post by korupt »

Hey guys.

I was wondering if anyone knew about any filebot library cleanup script, one similar to XBMC File cleaner.

I figured if there wasnt one then this could possibly be a feature as a post process script to AMC. Areas where I find XBMC File cleaner to be lacking is ability to be specific, i.e. set up rating limits for each category.

Lemme know if there is one, otherwise I might be interested in tinkering around trying to make something I could use.

Best regards

What aspect of this wouldn't work with the amc script and custom format expressions? What is a "cleaner" supposed to do?

Just run amc on /old-structure and sort into /new-structure and if you want to build a structure by rating/genre/etc you can just put that logic into your custom format expression.

You're probably right, it might work very well with custom formatting expressions.

Only thing the cleaner is supposed to do is find media that you MIGHT want to remove (based on the criteria I mentioned earlier), move them to a folder where you easily can browse them so that you can make the final decision on what should be deleted.

Today I'm using XBMC File Cleaner and only criteria I can submit is rating, last thing I would require is rating/category cause me and IMDB don't always see eye to eye.
