uTorrent Automation Script - Rename Failure

Post by beefwilliams »

First off, thank you for the program. It solves most of my problems with my media files. Now I would like to automate it! I have individual shares created for TV shoes, Movies, ect. So because of that, I had to use the -def seriesFormat type commands. The script launches, it will perform all the tasks, but when it tries to rename the video file, it fails (WARNING: Failed to set xattr: java.nio.file.NoSuchFileException:). It wouldn't think it would be a permission issue or it would fail to create the folders/files. I tested and if I don't use the "Format" switches, it renames the files without an issue, but I would rather not have to re-create my media library layout. Thanks in advance for your help!

Code: Select all

filebot -script fn:amc --output "C:\Torrents\Torrent_Files\Log" --log-file amc.log --action copy --conflict override -non-strict --def music=y subtitles=en artwork=y "ut_label=%L" "ut_state=%S" "ut_title=%N" "ut_kind=%K" "ut_file=%F" "ut_dir=%D" "seriesFormat=T:/{n}/{'Season'+s}/{fn}" "movieFormat=V:/{n} {y}/{fn}" "musicFormat=M:/{n}/{fn}"

This is just a warning:

Code: Select all

WARNING: Failed to set xattr: java.nio.file.NoSuchFileException:
As far as I can tell the COPY operation has worked just fine, and as long as it's working you can ignore any and all warnings. The cause is probably that your other drives use FAT filesystem which doesn't support extended attributes.

I thought it may be an issue with the storage too, but when I tested it without the switches, it renames the files fine. Any reason why it would be able to do it then, but not when it uses the "Format" switches?

Because your format specifies the destination drive and file system. NTFS supports Extended Attributes. FAT does not support Extended Attributes.
