"Java not found" AND "line 41: java: Permission denied"

Hi,

I'm using a Synology 213 and trying to use Firebot Node. I've installed Java 8 via these instructions:

When I tried to run initially, I would get "Java not found" so tried to copy some scrips from this thread http://www.filebot.net/forums/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=2527 but now I'm getting the error "permission denied".

I'm n00b x100 with this scripting, so not really sure what I'm doing if anybody could help!

I remember wasting a full day on some "permission issue" that was really caused by being logged in as admin:users rather than admin:administrators which somehow doesn't allow the user to run executables.

I don't know if I've copied the correct path code over... What should my code look like in terminal to make a symlink?

Just wondering I got 2 nas Ds213j and DS412, Im very interresting in having tomcat and java on DS213j like it is available on DS412.
Is it normal to not be available on bot harware ?

I'm sure Tomcat requires only Java to run, and Java 8 works perfectly on my DS213J so I'm sure it's possible. I can't help with the Synology Tomcat SPK though, but if that doesn't work I'd just SSH into the machine and set it up manually.
