FileNot Node - Not Starting

Post by tcs2tx »

I am trying to get FileBot and FileBot Node running on a second Synology (note-both are working on my first Synology). FileBot installed and is working without issue. However, I am not able to get FileBot Node to run after installation. Below is the requested information for providing help. Thanks.

1. Include System Information
- Synology DSM 5.2-5644 Update 5
- Java v1.8.0_73
- FileBot v4.6.1 (r3315)
2. How did you install FileBot?
- first, tried package from Package Center
- second, tried manual installation of package
3. Output from command line

>filebot -script 'fn:sys info'

It's crashing when trying to start the HTTPS service. Try setting FILEBOT_NODE_HTTPS to NO. The HTTP service might work.

Making progress, thanks. After making your suggested change, FileBot Node now appears to start. I now try to do to a test rename, and I get the following error message:

/usr/local/bin/filebot: line 53: java: not found

Not sure what to do since Java is installed (see logs from first post).

Did you use my Java installer to install Java?

That got it working. Thanks. I uninstalled the existing Jave installation and used your unofficial installer. There is a post somewhere on this Board that I followed where they renamed the downloaded Java to a v7 filename so that the Synology package would install.
