Entire TV SHOW Season renamed as incorrect season

Post by mac3lite »

I have been searching the forums for help on this since it has to be an easy fix, but I have not found my answer yet.

Here is the problem..

TV SHOW: American Dad!
File Structure- Root Folder:\American Dad\Season 1\S01E01-<Episode Title>

*Season 3 has been renamed as Season 2;

*Currently is =American Dad\Season2\american dad - S02E01 - Bullocks to Stan.avi

*SHOULD BE=American Dad\Season3\american dad - S03E01 - Camp Refoogee.avi*

-How do I get FileBot to rename an entire folder of a show that has been previously renamed as the wrong season and episode?? It's like this all the way through to season 7, and I'd rather not rename each file down to S03E01 and erasing the episode title on every single episode.

Please help fix this problem?!

Thanks again for your time and help with my problem!

1.
Do your files match the official episode numbers?
http://thetvdb.com/?tab=seasonall&id=73141&lid=7

2.
Have you had a look at Getting Started, Page 2 yet?
http://www.filebot.net/getting-started/

You can easily match files and data yourself instead of using auto-matching (which can't work if SxE numbers in the filename are misleading).
