I am currently running filebot 4.61 on a Synology with ppc armv5 (e500).
As Oracle has stopped the support for Java 8.33 and higher the latest version of my DS213+ is the 8.06
("Starting with the 8u33 release, SE Embedded releases will no longer include PowerPC platforms. Both the 32-bit PPC platforms (e500v2 and e600) that were previously available, are no longer offered.")
Now when it comes to updating to filebot 4.7 the package center wants me to install the unoficiall java update app first.
If I reject this I dont get 4.7 installed =>
If I install it, it installes the "unofficial java update app" but as there is no java for my CPU ("CPU architecture not supported") this fails as well and leads to the same result that 4.7 cant be installed.
Here is my proposal:
Is 4.7 running with Java 8.06 as well? If yes, it would be nice to skip the update procedure on a ppc cpu via "unoficiall java update app" as this is useless.
If 4.7 is not running on Java 8.06 please do not offer this version in the package center for ppc cpus
