renaming suddenly stopped working

Renaming files suddenly stopped working , nothing happens , no errors or nothing

windows 10 trying to rename movies stored on NAS ,

Did you read FAQ #1 yet? If you want to sort files into a new folder structure, you will need to set the format accordingly.

I don't need to sort the files into new folder structure ,

the folders are fine , I just want to rename the movie files in the folders, it scrape's perfectly but hitting rename does nothing.. yesterday I did my whole UFC archive and it worked great .. I uninstalled and reinstalled it didn't change a thing ..
it's at default {n.colon(' - ')} ({y}){' CD'+pi}{subt}

So you have trouble with renaming files? Nothing happening when clicking Rename? After updating FileBot? Are you by any chance using 32-bit Java on 64-bit Windows? Please install 64-bit Java if you're using 64-bit Windows.

it was working yesterday , somehow Java got corrupted , uninstalling and reinstalling fixed it , I can now drag - drop and rename
