Formatting not correct for "The Plague" (2018) from TheTVDB.com (DVD Order)

Episodes of "The Plague" (2018) are not being renamed or even found correctly.



Data on TheTVDB.com looks correct:

Interesting--it works correctly in 4.7.19 (5305) but fails in 4.8.3 (5807).

Might just be some odd settings on your end. Make sure you're using normal settings, like TheTVDB as database, Airdate episode order, try {plex} as format, etc. Maybe one of those changes might allow use to narrow down what the issue is here.


You can double-click a New Names item to open the Format Editor with that specific file / episode pair. That'll allow you to prototype the format on your own data, instead of the sample data, making it very useful for debugging.

You can press F7 when the Rename window is open to copy file / episode match / debugging information. Please paste that information here in the forums. That might tell us why SxE isn't defined for all your episode objects.

After processing with 4.7.19, I tried re-processing with 4.8.3 again. The results show that the season and episode information are still being dropped. Note that this is only with the Mac GUI interface; I'm not using the CLI.

For example, using "{n} - {s00e00} - {t}" as the format, I get "The Plague (2018) - S00E00 - The New World" as the result.

This is with TheTVDB as the source.
