How do I deal with files ripped from DVD disks named [Futurama Volume 7 Disc 2-1] effectively?
I'm a bit baffled by how Filebot decides how to match DVD titles. For example, I ripped Futurama and Season 7 looks something like this... Futurama Volume 7 Disc 1-1.m4v Futurama Volume 7 Disc 1-2.m4v Futurama Volume 7 Disc 1-3.m4v Futurama Volume 7 Disc 1-4.m4v Futurama Volume 7 Disc 1-5.m4v ...

Re: FileBot should use tags to figure out what is what
OK, that worked by selecting Smart Attributes, renaming. And then loading it a 2nd time, and matching against TVDB. So thanks for that.

I had ripped Red Dwarf to my iTunes library. I'd never got around to naming them, but they were correctly marked in iTunes by season and episode. Anyway, I lost my iTunes library database, am moving now to Plex, and hoping for FileBot to help dig me out of the mess. Anyway, FileBot isn't helping me ...
