Problem now is that when you rename, you get two lots of same episodes in the Poldark folder. Ie original I’d Poldark (1975) - SE01E01.mkv becomes Poldark - S01 - Episode 1 AND Poldark S01E01-E04 Episode 1 & Episode 2 & Episode 3 and Episode ...

Getting v demoralised and disenchanted now.

1. Ripped the eight DVDs to eight mkv files. (Not complicating with splitting at this stage)

2. Named these in media/TV series/Poldark (1975) (TMDB-35091)/Series 01/Poldark (1975) SE01E01 etc for the four parts (not episodes!) in the first series. Ditto ...

Remember my selection checkbox- No idea why that would happen. Also why would it remember the wrong selection? Ie 2015, when I was repeatedly choosing 1975??

Thought you’d said episodes and databases found by right clicking libraries etc. In my case, the settings seem to be in Agent (Legacy), which is separate from the library section within settings.

The only relevant option in that seems to be “the Movie Database”. (No Movie or TVDB in the others ...

Thanks. Noted re setting Plex.ID. Definitely no episode ordering in advanced library settings. Using 1.112.0.359-0d79a49f Plex for Windows and 1.422.10156 Plex Server.

I couldn’t find episode ordering in library/advanced. There is something under Agents (Legacy) There is a sub head for TVDB but it won’t let me tick the TVDB box. I can tick the Movie Database though.

Realise I missed your earlier question. No idea what custom format I’m using in FB?

Update. Thanks for the process. I followed your advice. I edit matched the first matched list to the relevant episodes, renamed etc. So far so good. However, when I moved them to Plex, they appeared in a completely different order. Ie the file order after FileBot edit match were Poldark ...

:?: That depends on how you rip the episodes. Do you have 1 video file with 3+ episodes? Or 3+ video files with 1 episode per 1 video file?

Ripped and re authored each DVD per video file.

Have now installed FileBot to help naming and of my DVD collection.
