Renaming Formats gone after upgrade 4>4.1
Please please please let there be an option to recover my renaming formats.
I have a backup of yesterday, I just need to know which files I have to restore.
It's really bad to just delete them when upgrading. I really invested much work to get them where I want them.....

Standard Paths
Is there any chance I can define standard paths (eg where are my movies located)? I alwas have to scroll through my explorer and cannot even use favorites, since they are not displayed by the GUI.
That would be great

Where are subtitles saved?
I downloaded subtitels via the GUI but I cannot find them at any location: neither at the movie, or the standard download folder nor the program location. Where are they saved?

Thx, did workrednoah wrote:FileBot only ISO 639-1 2-letter codes and ISO 639-3 letter codes, and it seems it doesn't know ISO 639-2 B codes. So "ger" is not recognized. Rename "ger" to "deu" and it'll work.

Re: Can "automatic media center" use my movie actual format?
If you want to use a custom format you'll have to pass it in in the cmdline call. It's a bit tricky cause of all the escaping, but you could also write little python or groovy script that passes things in as String Array. Well, I can write powershell, but sadly not python/groovy. Where is my lates ...

Re: Rename Folders Too
I have renamed all folders and files and reorganized the folders them so I can use them with XBMC (and smart playlists). Maybe I have choosen a not so good format for a new thing I want (display "Directors Cut"... in XBMC) I think of renaming folders and files again. But since I use now some XBMC ...

Can "automatic media center" use my movie actual format?
I am quite a newbie and so optimizing my movie format quite often. Can http://www.filebot.net/forums/viewtopic.php?t=215 use my newest movie settings so that I do not have to put it in the command line? My movie settings so far ../{primarytitle}{' ('+net.sourceforge.filebot.WebServices.IMDb.scrape ...

Re: How to handle foreign language titles (not original)?
If you want German titles I'd use TheMovieDB and set Language Preference to German, then you can access the German title with {n} and the English/Original Title with {primaryTitle} Do you have any suggestion how I should sort my movies for this operation? I have ~50% of english movies, 20% of ...

How to handle foreign language titles (not original)?
I have a few movies in german language with german movie title in file name so I instantly know that this is not original language. Problem: Filebot always renames to the english titel. I use the original title hack too, but in this case it's not about the original title but the need to keep the ...

Re: Using Original Title from IMDB in 'Foreign' Movie Names
Thank you for this hack :) Is there any way to detect that {n} is the same as the original title and not use it twice (and not be picky about upper/lowercase)? I use this format ../{n}{' ("'+net.sourceforge.filebot.WebServices.IMDb.scrape(imdbid, '''//SPAN[@class='title-extra']''').match ...

How to handle multiple subtitle files?
When there is more than on .srt, eg "Movie [2009] eng.srt" "Movie [2009] ger.srt" Filebot want to rename both files to the same name: "Movie [2009].srt" This ends up in a warning that there is a conflict. How can I handle this? This is my format so far to rename folder and file (and use the hack to ...

What to do when Filebot takes AKA title instead of original?
I have a file, called "Tampopo [1985]" This is the imdb page http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0092048/ where you can read "(original title) Tampopo" in the AKA section- Either imdb or themoviedb return "Dandelion" I also tried the hack in this thread http://www.filebot.net/forums/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=842 ...
