I read the article you supplied and YES, I do have "Use dark menu bar and Dock" checked as it prevents screen burn-in.

Also, I do not have or know "Groovy Pad"

First choice is not available to me, my mac is soooooo old it does not have Dark Mode, I'm running 10.13.6 High Sierra.

I named the pictures correctly but should have mentioned this in the post, my bad, the console version showed the history but not the regular version.

I just tried try the mac version and the Rename History is OK but not the scraping to the title, that is incorrect.

Sorry, I did not dare look in the HEAD folder.
I used this file FileBot_4.5-portable.zip and installed on the PC as there was no Mac version.
With 4.5_B3, the renaming worked fine but not the Rename History, here are the screenshots: http://imgur.com/a/5ZGMA#0
