Re: Wishlist for New Features and Scripts
I noticed that subliminal supports Addic7ed (among others) - maybe checking out how they did it could shed some light on the situation? https://preview-pypi.python.org/project/subliminal/ https://github.com/Diaoul/subliminal http://subliminal.readthedocs.org/en/latest/ There's also a subliminal syno...

Exponential delays when subtitle-searching multiple folders
Hi Red, I'm trying out the subtitle downloader via the GUI and have noticed a strange issue... If I select a single season folder of a show (i.e. \\mynas\media\TV Shows\Castle (2009 TV-PG)\Season 06), it loads the list of episodes, find/matches subtitles, and we're ready to download in a few seconds...

Re: subs
I just started experimenting with the subtitle downloader via the GUI today, and yeah... that language tag is super annoying. If your software doesn't support that you'll have to just run an extra script and mass-rename your subtitle files after the filebot call. The problem is that I was hoping to ...

Hi guys, I had a separate thread about this one, but figured I'd add the updated version to the sticky :-) The three types are 'Movies', 'TV Shows', and 'Anime'. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Movies: Incl...

Re: Thank You So Very Much & Happy Holidays
Another year, another holiday - but the message is the same: thanks RedNoah for another year's hard work on FileBot!
I, along with the 7.03TB of media I have since renamed, greatly appreciate all your work in putting this awesome little app together.

Save (and preload) naming schemes
Hi Red, This might take a bit of GUI tweaking, but I was wondering if there was any way you could add the option to save/load naming schemes. I.e. Once you have a specific scheme in filebot, hit save and give it a quickname/description/category (and depending on how spacing works out, maybe a previe...

Re: Ithiel's super crazy renaming scheme for perfectionists!
Hi Doom, you mean this one? http://anidb.net/perl-bin/animedb.pl?show=anime&aid=9603 Be sure you use the anime (not the tv episode) naming scheme (entered in 'Episodes') and then hold shift while pressing the AniDB button to have it run the lookup. when the input box appears (holding shift means...

Ithiel's super crazy renaming scheme for perfectionists!
Hi guys, After much testing, trialling, tweaking, and subsequent 'hey, how do I make it do ....' messages to Red (you're awesome mate), I think I've finally got my naming format finalised, and I'm hoping it will come in handy to a few other people. Of course, if you can see anywhere that I can make ...

lol, you must still be uploading it. I'll try again in a little bit
Sourceforge has the latest build as 11 hours ago (filebot-3.8-r1949-fn20), and that build still seems to have the same issue.

Re: Anime - absolute numbering with eng & jap title and more
Argh... scratch that - seems there's a bit of a snag. It works for some anime, but not others :-/ Figured this out as 3: One Piece (http://anidb.net/perl-bin/animedb.pl?show=anime&aid=69) Figured this out as 2: Nodame Cantabile (http://anidb.net/perl-bin/animedb.pl?show=anime&aid=4691) Didn'...

Re: Anime - absolute numbering with eng & jap title and more
Awesome - it seems to like that
Although.. wouldn't it be < 99, rather than < 100 (otherwise shows with 100 episodes wouldn't trigger it)?
Thus making it:

Re: Anime - absolute numbering with eng & jap title and more
For the absolute numbering, I tend to limit it to 2 digits for shows <100 episodes (which is most things), and then 3 digits for shows with over 100 episodes (Naruto, Bleach, etc..). i.e. Two digits: {absolute.pad(2)}{'Special '+special.pad(2)} Three Digits: {absolute.pad(3)}{'Special '+special.pad(...

Re: Drag and Drop issues in Windows 8(.1)?
The usual suspect would be permissions issues. Permissions to what? the program or the path? I can browse to the path without issue (via mapped drive or direct network path), it's just that FileBot only 'likes' the network path. Also, I've tried running FileBot as administrator to see if that helpe...

Yup - I've got it mounted as 'N:\'... however it doesn't work AT ALL if I try via the network drive.

Drag and Drop issues in Windows 8(.1)?
Hi Red, Not sure if it's a Windows 8 (or 8.1) issue, but drag and drop doesn't work for me anymore. :-/ When I try and drag something into FileBot, I get a red circle with a line through it and it won't let me drop anywhere. Also, not sure if it's related or not, but I'm also having some file browsi...

Any way to detect movies part of a 'collection'?
Hi Red, Not sure if this sort of info is stored anywhere on IMDB or theMovieDB, but I was wondering if there was any way to tell if a movie was part of a series or collection? I.E. "Star Wars- Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back (1980 PG)" is part of the "Star Wars" saga. "D...
