Anime naming problems

Post by goku93 »

Hello everybody :P I have a few of errors naming anime so any help I will appreciate it!
Im using Filebot last version (I downloaded it a few minutes ago) and I have some problems trying to rename animes :/

So first, if I try to rename all the episodes of different anime this is what happens.

As you can see it doesn't recognize what anime is each one.

If I try with just one file, the popup appear with the name but nothing happens:

That anime does work with TheTVDB but it doesnt with AniDB. The majority doesnt work with AniDB or TheTVDB
Like this:

If I search it on Episodes it says that it doesnt have any episode:

but if I go to AniDB.net it does have:

and that is happening for the majority of my animes :/ a few months ago this problem wasnt happening. thanks!

1.
The less well-named your files are, the less well it'll work, especially if you just drop in everything, especially if it's very new shows that haven't been indexed yet by filebot, especially if episode data is not complete.

2.
If you want me to have a look I need to try it myself, i.e. you need to post the filenames here as text.

3.
If it guesses the name correctly, but doesn't find anything, then the Anime doesn't exist, or isn't known to FileBot yet. So if it's new show that was added recently just give it a few weeks.

4.
If something doesn't work, first check something that should work, like Naruto or One Piece. If it then doesn't work for something that got added very recently you know that it can't work yet, but will if you wait a month or two.
