[Solved in r2375] Match errors linked with language

Post by LiteulDiablo »

Hi guys,

I'm trying using Filebot for my French movies collection.

Here the sysinfo :

Code: Select all

filebot -script fn:sysinfo
FileBot 4.2 (r2326)
JNA Native: 4.0.0
MediaInfo: MediaInfoLib - v0.7.69
7-Zip-JBinding: OK
chromaprint-tools: fpcalc version 1.1.0 (/Applications/FileBot.app/Contents/MacOS/fpcalc)
Extended Attributes: OK
Groovy Engine: 2.3.4
JRE: Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment 1.7.0_67 (headless)
JVM: 64-bit Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM
CPU/MEM: 4 Core / 910 MB Max Memory / 246 MB Used Memory
OS: Mac OS X (x86_64)
uname: Darwin MacBook-Air-de-Vincent.local 13.3.0 Darwin Kernel Version 13.3.0: Tue Jun 3 21:27:35 PDT 2014; root:xnu-2422.110.17~1/RELEASE_X86_64 x86_64
Done ヾ(@⌒ー⌒@)ノ

I use the "--lang fr" param, but if my movie already had the correct French title, FileBot gives me the English title :

Code: Select all

filebot --action test --lang fr -rename Harry\ Potter\ à\ L\'École\ Des\ Sorciers\ \(2001\).avi
Filename pattern: [0,00] SxE, [0,00] CWS
Rename movies using [TheMovieDB]
Auto-detect movie from context: [/Volumes/Download/film/saga/film/fr/Harry Potter à L'École Des Sorciers (2001).avi]
[TEST] Rename [/Volumes/Download/film/saga/film/fr/Harry Potter à L'École Des Sorciers (2001).avi] to Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone (2001).avi]
Processed 1 files
Done ヾ(@⌒ー⌒@)ノ
Result : Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone (2001).avi (!! title in English !! Why ?)

If I remove the word "Des" for example, FileBot give me the correct French title :

Code: Select all

filebot --action test --lang fr -rename Harry\ Potter\ à\ L\'École\ Sorciers\ \(2001\).avi
Filename pattern: [0,00] SxE, [0,00] CWS
Rename movies using [TheMovieDB]
Auto-detect movie from context: [/Volumes/Download/film/saga/film/fr/Harry Potter à L'École Sorciers (2001).avi]
[TEST] Rename [/Volumes/Download/film/saga/film/fr/Harry Potter à L'École Sorciers (2001).avi] to [Harry Potter à l'École des Sorciers (2001).avi]
Processed 1 files
Done ヾ(@⌒ー⌒@)ノ
Result : Harry Potter à l'École des Sorciers (2001).avi (Correct French title with "des" inside)

I tried by removing "Sorciers" or "Ecole" and it is the same :

Code: Select all

filebot --action test --lang fr -rename Harry\ Potter\ à\ L\'École\ Des\ \(2001\).avi
Filename pattern: [0,00] SxE, [0,00] CWS
Rename movies using [TheMovieDB]
Auto-detect movie from context: [/Volumes/Download/film/saga/film/fr/Harry Potter à L'École Des (2001).avi]
[TEST] Rename [/Volumes/Download/film/saga/film/fr/Harry Potter à L'École Des (2001).avi] to [Harry Potter à l'École des Sorciers (2001).avi]
Processed 1 files
Done ヾ(@⌒ー⌒@)ノ
Result : Harry Potter à l'École des Sorciers (2001).avi (Correct French title with "Sorciers" inside)

Code: Select all

filebot --action test --lang fr -rename Harry\ Potter\ à\ L\ Des\ Sorciers\ \(2001\).avi
Filename pattern: [0,00] SxE, [0,00] CWS
Rename movies using [TheMovieDB]
Auto-detect movie from context: [/Volumes/Download/film/saga/film/fr/Harry Potter à L Des Sorciers (2001).avi]
[TEST] Rename [/Volumes/Download/film/saga/film/fr/Harry Potter à L Des Sorciers (2001).avi] to [Harry Potter à l'École des Sorciers (2001).avi]
Processed 1 files
Done ヾ(@⌒ー⌒@)ノ
Result : Harry Potter à l'École des Sorciers(2001).avi (Correct French title with "École" inside)

FileBot gives me the correct French title if I remove any word from the title, but if the title perfectly matches the French title in TheMovieDB, it gives me the English title...
Am I crazy or something is really bad ?

Many thanks.

Regards,
Liteul.

Thank your for your quick return.

I already tried to use V4.5B3 and I had this error message on my MacBook Air :

Code: Select all

Exception in thread "main" java.lang.UnsupportedClassVersionError: net/filebot/Main : Unsupported major.minor version 52.0

Same with all V4.3Bx and V4.5Bx

For the r2573, I see your modifications in SVN but I can't find a build...

Regards,
Vincent.

Ok, thank you.

I'm first trying with the build of r2570...

First run :

Code: Select all

filebot
sept. 17, 2014 7:09:48 PM net.filebot.Main initializeCache
AVERTISSEMENT: App version (r2570) does not match cache version (r2326): reset cache
And after that, nothing.
I kill app and restart... Nothing.

I try with UI, and it works correctly...

Last run :

Code: Select all

filebot -clear-cache
Clear cache and temporary files
* Delete /Users/vincent/.filebot/cache
And nothing appends....
This is strange, isn't it ?

Print Usage & Exit

Code: Select all

filebot
Clear Cache & Exit

Code: Select all

filebot -clear-cache
These commands are just gonna run and exit, if that's what you mean by nothing.

No, no, it really does nothing and doesn't give the terminal back... No exit at the end...
I have to kill it to terminate it.

Before, with no args, command line returns help... Now, it seems to return nothing.

So, I don't mind... I try with my previous command and the r2570 :

Code: Select all

filebot -script fn:sysinfo
FileBot 4.5 (r2570)
JNA Native: 4.0.0
MediaInfo: MediaInfoLib - v0.7.69
7-Zip-JBinding: OK
chromaprint-tools: fpcalc version 1.1.0 (/Applications/FileBot.app/Contents/MacOS/fpcalc)
Extended Attributes: OK
Groovy Engine: 2.3.4
JRE: Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment 1.8.0_20
JVM: 64-bit Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM
CPU/MEM: 4 Core / 910 MB Max Memory / 60 MB Used Memory
OS: Mac OS X (x86_64)
uname: Darwin MacBook-Air-de-Vincent.local 13.3.0 Darwin Kernel Version 13.3.0: Tue Jun 3 21:27:35 PDT 2014; root:xnu-2422.110.17~1/RELEASE_X86_64 x86_64
Done ヾ(@⌒ー⌒@)ノ

Code: Select all

filebot --action test --lang fr -rename Harry\ Potter\ à\ L\'École\ Des\ Sorciers\ \(2001\).avi
Filename pattern: [0,00] SxE, [0,00] CWS
Rename movies using [TheMovieDB]
Auto-detect movie from context: [/Users/vincent/Harry Potter à L'École Des Sorciers (2001).avi]
[TEST] Rename [/Users/vincent/Harry Potter à L'École Des Sorciers (2001).avi] to [Harry Potter à l'École des Sorciers (2001).avi]
Processed 1 files
Done ヾ(@⌒ー⌒@)ノ
It seems to be ok now !! Good news

Now, I try the same with a string (without protecting space...) :

Code: Select all

filebot --action test --lang fr -rename "Harry Potter à l'École des Sorciers (2001).avi"
Filename pattern: [0,00] SxE, [0,00] CWS
Rename movies using [TheMovieDB]
Auto-detect movie from context: [/Users/vincent/Harry Potter à l'École des Sorciers (2001).avi]
Skipped [/Users/vincent/Harry Potter à l'École des Sorciers (2001).avi] because [/Users/vincent/Harry Potter à l'École des Sorciers (2001).avi] already exists
Processed 1 files
Done ヾ(@⌒ー⌒@)ノ
There is no file like that (I write the command line just for a quick test) but FileBot indicates that the file already exists, strange again ? :

Code: Select all

ls "/Users/vincent/Harry Potter à l'École des Sorciers (2001).avi"
ls: /Users/vincent/Harry Potter à l'École des Sorciers (2001).avi: No such file or directory

Finally, I build r2573 and use it :

Code: Select all

filebot -script fn:sysinfo
FileBot 4.5 (r0)
JNA Native: 4.0.0
MediaInfo: MediaInfoLib - v0.7.69
7-Zip-JBinding: OK
chromaprint-tools: fpcalc version 1.1.0 (/Applications/FileBot.app/Contents/MacOS/fpcalc)
Extended Attributes: OK
Groovy Engine: 2.3.4
JRE: Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment 1.8.0_20
JVM: 64-bit Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM
CPU/MEM: 4 Core / 910 MB Max Memory / 38 MB Used Memory
OS: Mac OS X (x86_64)
uname: Darwin MacBook-Air-de-Vincent.local 13.3.0 Darwin Kernel Version 13.3.0: Tue Jun 3 21:27:35 PDT 2014; root:xnu-2422.110.17~1/RELEASE_X86_64 x86_64

--- UPDATE AVAILABLE: FileBot 4.2 (r2326) ---

Done ヾ(@⌒ー⌒@)ノ
And I have exactly the same behavior :

Code: Select all

filebot --action test --lang fr -rename Harry\ Potter\ à\ L\'École\ Des\ Sorciers\ \(2001\).avi
Filename pattern: [0,00] SxE, [0,00] CWS
Rename movies using [TheMovieDB]
Auto-detect movie from context: [/Users/vincent/Harry Potter à L'École Des Sorciers (2001).avi]
[TEST] Rename [/Users/vincent/Harry Potter à L'École Des Sorciers (2001).avi] to [Harry Potter à l'École des Sorciers (2001).avi]
Processed 1 files
Done ヾ(@⌒ー⌒@)ノ
OK, good !!

Code: Select all

filebot --action test --lang fr -rename "Harry Potter à l'École des Sorciers (2001).avi"
Filename pattern: [0,00] SxE, [0,00] CWS
Rename movies using [TheMovieDB]
Auto-detect movie from context: [/Users/vincent/Harry Potter à l'École des Sorciers (2001).avi]
Skipped [/Users/vincent/Harry Potter à l'École des Sorciers (2001).avi] because [/Users/vincent/Harry Potter à l'École des Sorciers (2001).avi] already exists
Processed 1 files
Done ヾ(@⌒ー⌒@)ノ
Failed again with a string as param...

Let me know if you need another information.

Regards,
Liteul.

So what's wrong with this? You're renaming an already renamed file in place. Put it somewhere else with --output /other/folder and it'll be fine.

Code: Select all

Skipped [/Users/vincent/Harry Potter à l'École des Sorciers (2001).avi] because [/Users/vincent/Harry Potter à l'École des Sorciers (2001).avi] already exists
If at all this looks strange:

Code: Select all

[TEST] Rename [/Users/vincent/Harry Potter à L'École Des Sorciers (2001).avi] to [Harry Potter à l'École des Sorciers (2001).avi]
But that's probably because of the frenchy à L'É which has multiple ways of encoding the same character with different byte sequences.

Run the last one with MOVE and see what's up. Either it does nothing, or it does something that results in nothing. It's fine by me either way.

~~ EDIT ~~

This one works fine for me as well:

Code: Select all

filebot --action test --lang fr -rename Harry\ Potter\ à\ L\'École\ Des\ Sorciers\ \(2001\).avi
Filename pattern: [0.00] SxE, [0.00] CWS
Rename movies using [TheMovieDB]
Auto-detect movie from context: [/Users/reinhard/dev/AMC-TEST/Harry Potter à l'École des Sorciers (2001).avi]
Skipped [/Users/reinhard/dev/AMC-TEST/Harry Potter à l'École des Sorciers (2001).avi] because [/Users/reinhard/dev/AMC-TEST/Harry Potter à l'École des Sorciers (2001).avi] already exists
Processed 1 files

Nothing really wrong but in fact, the file is not present at all... I did my test with a real file name but not in the directory of the file.
Maybe the message should be "Skipped $File1 because no renaming is need" or something like that... But it really doesn't matter

For the last "issue", I understand my mistake which wasn't linked with encoding but with upper/lower case of the "L" :
  • filebot --action test --lang fr -rename Harry\ Potter\ à\ L\'École\ Des\ Sorciers\ \(2001\).avi --> File renamed
    filebot --action test --lang fr -rename Harry\ Potter\ à\ l\'École\ Des\ Sorciers\ \(2001\).avi --> File already exists
So, all is good !! :D
Thank you for your time.

Do you think I can use r2375 safely ?
Many thanks.

Liteul.

Yes, the latest revision is (almost) always the one that'll work best. Unless I accidentally introduced a new bug, but especially for that it's good to have people use the latest and greatest, so new bugs don't make it into the final release. ;)
