Window Location Not Remembered

I am using v4.5 on a Mac and it would be awesome if the window location would be remembered between each launch of the app.

Instead it moves back to a default location and size every time.

I am pretty sure the previous free version used to remember the window location.

That hasn't changed. It works fine here. I've tested App Store and app bundle releases.

Is there a cache or something I should clean out?

Looks like if you click the red X to close the window it works, but if you kill the app via Dock->Quit it somehow doesn't work.

This also happens on several save as places in windows 8.1. I will try the x to close but when renaming and saving subtitles, it always brings you back to the home menu instead of where you left off.
