How to make dummies with correct extension?

Post by Biff »

I want to make dummy files and I want the extension changed also, so I copy the movie names with extension to the right side of FileBot and I copy txt files (0 kb) to the left side with the extension txt. The txt extension shall be changed to the existing extension of the original files of the movie: http://i.imgur.com/3hYNeDx.png

How could I do it?

And how can I one show in FileBot the amount of files / lines of the left / right side?

You must set Settings -> Extension -> Override if you want control of the full path.

Many thanks, rednoah,

When I click on that item it stays the same, it does not show whether the option (to override) is activated or not, at least I cannot see it. Is that correct?

The preview will look different. It'll also show the extension differently. The differences should be quite obvious in comparison, as long as some data is loaded into either side.

OK, thank you. And when I (files loaded) on "Override" again, nothing happens. When I want the extensions be kept, how do I deactivate override when the files are loaded
