can't download subtitle

hello,

i just bought os x version filebot from appstore .. and i cant download subtitles ... i cant even login to opensubtitles ..

when i try to login it says OpenSubtitles: The response could not be parsed ...

i've been trying to download subtitles for the last 30 days and this is the reponse I always get

I've tested things for a bit and I can't find any issues.

So you're already getting some sort of error even when you're just trying to login? Are you using Proxy? Have you tried using a VPN or from a different location / network? This look like a network issue on your particular computer or network.

You could try CTRL+SHIFT+DEL to delete any caches, but if it's a general network issue then this won't help much.

it was working fine until last dec it starts to acting up .. all my computer on the same network have same trouble. i can open opensubtitles from browser just fine .. so i dont know why it cant work from filebot.

any chance my isp subnet got blocked from your end?

The website and the API are different. FileBot can connect but instead of getting the expected XML response from the API its getting some HTML error page. Either from your proxy, or from the OpenSubtitles server or somewhere in between.

FileBot talks directly to OpenSubtitles so there's little I can do. You could try the OpenSubtitles forums and ask if your IP range has been banned.
