On my (4.6.1/Windows) install, I have the single episode listed in http://anidb.net/perl-bin/animedb.pl?sh ... e&aid=8565 but I'm unable to make filebot match this.
1. Attempt to search for "Hunter X hunter" on anidb website. 8 possible entries are found, select the one named simply "Hunter X hunter" and you'll arrive at http://anidb.net/perl-bin/animedb.pl?sh ... e&aid=8565 which has a single episode "Complete Movie"
2. Attempt to search for "Hunter X hunter" in filebot episode tab. 8 possible entries are found, select the one named simply "Hunter X hunter" and you'll get a message that no episodes were found.
AniDB lookup not able to find a movie
Re: AniDB lookup not able to find a movie
Type Other Anime are ignored (same as Type Music Video and Type Unkown). That rule was probably introduced because they cause more harm than good during automated processing.
It'd be nice if we could remove a8565 from the search results, but at that point type, number of episodes, etc is not known.
Episode Mode AniDB is not meant to deal with non-Episode type Anime like Anime Movies. Movie Mode TheMovieDB should be used instead.

Re: AniDB lookup not able to find a movie
Using Plex+HAMA for anime, I should name files using AniDB main - TMDB names are pretty much useless for anime in my setup.
Currently, this decision causes filebot to be a lot less useful for anime, so please consider an option/mode where filebot can use the same data as Plex/HAMA, treating movies as single-episode series.
