uTorrent and movie packs

Hi,
I noticed that when I use the "Run Program" option in uTorrent with the command line provided by FileBot example on Wiki page:

filebot -script fn:amc --output "M:\Organized Movies" --log-file amc.log --action copy --conflict override -non-strict --def music=y subtitles=es artwork=y "ut_label=%L" "ut_state=%S" "ut_title=%N" "ut_kind=%K" "ut_file=%F" "ut_dir=%D"


and I have a TV series pack torrent containing various episodes, then each time I tell uTorrent to download a new episode from the torrent, it will of course run the filebot command line again. However, I find that each time it will unpack all the episodes that were downloaded so far again, not only the last one.

I hope I could make myself clear.

Is there a way to tell the script to skip the ones that were already unpacked before?

What do the logs say? The amc script will only process files that are passed in by utorrent.

the log shows that it indeed gets all files as input again.
Not just the last RAR files I download from the same torrent.

BTW, I also noticed that lately the subs do not download with the uTorrent script. I have to do it through the GUI or Context menu.
So you see anything wrong with the syntax (maybe due to some update in Filebot)?

Are you using an old out-dated version of utorrent? That's key information that you probably wanna mention in your first post...

The old version of utorrent doesn't support %K which should be "single" or "multi". However, even "single" isn't passed in, it still doesn't extract everything, it just checks the archive and then doesn't extract anything that's already there:

According to the logs it's searching for subtitles, just not finding any. The amc script will only perform strict subtitle search, so if no subtitles are found, it means there aren't any good ones. You can try non-strict search with the suball script later on, or using the GUI yourself.

If you find good subtitles for which the amc script didn't find any. Please use FileBot to upload these subtitles for the files AFTER you have confirmed that subtitles and video match perfectly.

regarding your points:

1) and 2) I have an old version. It is the recommended version for my torrent tracker service (v 2.2.1). i have been using it for years already never having had a problem.
But I'll try a later version. Do you know the oldest version that supports the parameter ut_kind?

3) I just noticed that lately I hardly get subs with my torrents, whereas before it would find a sub 99% of the time. So I thought there was something wrong. Or due to my upgrade to Filebot 4.6.1. But maybe it's that opensubtitles is slower nowadays?

I have no idea. They probably added the in 3.* but depending on what variables 2.* passes you may or may not be able to make it work exactly the way you want.

3.
It's a new gamble every time, depending on who uploaded subs for which files. For private trackers, there might be a few individuals that upload subs (or at least add hash matches) and if they are gone you suddenly won't get any.

If you use the GUI, then "Strict Search" (hash match or name match) will show the subtitles that the amc script can find, but the GUI will continue with "Fuzzy Search" which is what the amc script won't do.

I just did a test. I downloaded a torrent, the script runs from uTerrent but finds no subs. I use the context menu "Fetch" function on the unpacked, renamed and copied file and it finds a subtitle immediately. So the subs are there, but the "run program" command line in uTorrent doesn't find them.

Is that also because of the fuzzy versus strict search?

It's very likely that "fuzzy search" would find subtitles for popular episodes/movies even if "strict search" yields no results.
