Will AMC sort movies/tvshows into different directories?

I'm using different folders for my Plex libraries. I opened the transmission script and I didn't see a place for the folder

Is there a way to get AMC to put TV shows and Movies on different drives/volumes? I tried with aliases but it just starts putting everything in unsorted when I set Movies or TV Shows to be an alias for a folder on another drive...

Yes. Use absolute formats.

Not sure I understand how that relates; could you provide an example maybe?

My use case involves a Mac Mini, Plex, 2 external hard drives - one used for TV and one used for movies. I actually only need amc for TV episodes, but happy to utilise it for movies as well if I can figure out how to keep them on separate drives.

How to use custom formats in the amc script is documented in the amc manual. Please carefully read the Change how files will be organized and renamed section.
