Help with naming

Post by TheMikeRT »

Hello

I've been looking for a way to rename my series into this ... " 01 Episode Name".
But i'm I can't get it to work, I've only been able to get this "S01 E01 Episode Name".

How can I get rid of the Season and E in front of the episode number?

Thanks in advance!

You can do anything you want in your custom format:
http://www.filebot.net/naming.html

That being said, what you're trying to do is rather stupid. Use S00E00 or 1x01 naming like everyone else. It's the standard for a reason. ;)

For me it's not that stupid. It's how I organize my files. I categorize them in folders per series and per season.

I tried to customize it but I failed. Any tips on how to help me?

The 2nd example is almost what you want:

Code: Select all

TV Shows/{n}/Season {s}/{sxe} - {t}
If you ever want any automated tool (incl. FileBot, Plex, etc) to make sense of those files in the future ever again, then you better use standard SxE numbering. ;)
