Hi All, new to FileBot.
Want to try this program as I think it will solve a problem I have but don't want to install Java on my Windows 10 PC, uninstalled it about 2 years ago and haven't needed it until now.
I have downloaded the server version of Java from the oracle site and unpacked it from the tar.gz to a folder. Did a search on Google and it implied it's possible to run java based programs without installing it and I can get java to return the version info on the command line java -version but not sure how to get both java and FilBot to work portably.
So is it possible to run the portable version in GUI mode without installing Java JRE on Windows 10? When I try to run FileBot.exe from the command line I get a message box saying this application requires a Java Runtime Environment 1.8.0
Searched the forums but couldn't find anything. Will keep looking to see if I can find any command line arguments for specifying a way to pass the path into FileBot.
Run FileBot portable without JRE installed
