Two movies on one disc.

Post by paxnn »

Subject: Two, or more, movies on one disc.

I want the one disc to have two separate entries on
the movie poster wall,
but pointing to the same iso file.

So given one iso file named:
"movieName1 -%- movieName2.iso"
Which is just a sample of what I name the file after backup with Makemkv.
The syntax could be changed to make this easier.
This file is stored in a folder which is not scanned (sourced)
by the HomeTheater program, when it builds the poster wall.

I want two hard linked files named after each title on the original disc.
Each is linked back to the copy of the original: "movieName1 -%- movieName2.iso"

movieName1 (2009).iso
movieName2 (1999).iso
with:
movieName1 (2009)-poster.jpg
movieName1 (2009)-fanart.jpg
movieName2 (1999)-poster.jpg
movieName2 (1999)-fanart.jpg

You might be able to make it work with Plain File Mode:
viewtopic.php?t=2072

Run once and generate file paths based on what's before % and then run again with after % to generate the second half.
