I'm having trouble with trying to define video formats

I've put in {vf} in the syntax string but it keeps coming up with unexpected token.

Am I missing a file or something? I am on Mac OSX 10.8.4

Apart from that, I think it's THE most useful program on my entire system

What exactly does it say? Is any of the mediainfo bindings working? What's the output if you run my sysinfo script?
