You can use the amc script for that.
You can use the --def ignore=regex option to ignore any file path that matches a given pattern. Depending on your setup, you may configure this pattern to match a parent folder name that contains only TV Shows, or something unique about TV episode files such as SxE and S00E00 patterns.
If you're only processing Movie files, then adding --def ut_label=Movie will help the amc script to process things faster and more reliably.
